Second Cut Feedback

After making vast improvements to our product following our first cut feedback we presented our Second Cut to our peers. This was also an opportunity to come to a conclusion on a dispute me and Leonie had about the relevance and usage of the titles at the start of the text. Whilst Leonie liked the titles and though they were conventional, I thought they looked out of place and made the product look unprofessional. We argued these points to our peers during the feedback to see what they thought about this situation.

Here is a selection of peer feedback examples we received:

- The titles at the start of the product is a pop genre convention however I feel that they may be too large and take up too much of the screen. Therefore I would minimize the font size.
- Introduction of the performance element makes the video much more conventional to the pop genre and makes come across as more of a 'real media text'
- The lip syncing is not synchronized in time with the song

Responding to this feedback, we decided that we would listen to our peers and compromise on the titles at the start of the extract by minimizing them but not getting rid of them in their entirety. We also made sure that for our final product the lip syncing was in line with the song.
